Message from the event organisers:

Dear Participants,

Rarely in airsoft do we see prize money of this value. Sadly this is sometimes due to the occasional

cheating that takes place within games. We have designed this event to limit the opportunity to cheat as much as possible. Cheating is never tolerated and will result in full team disqualification. Please follow the rules, including those that apply to the campsite and event village. Please follow the direction of event staff and understand we operate a zero tolerance policy with regards abuse towards our team or other players. Both they, and ourselves have worked tirelessly to ensure this event runs smoothly and you all have a memorable time. Keep safe, help each other and enjoy your tournament.

Many Thanks from the Event Management Team.

THE RULES

SITE RULES

The rules here are in place to keep you, your team mates, and everyone involved in the event safe, and free from unfair game play. All good, reputable airsoft providers employ some basic rules. Most are just common sense, and if you already play airsoft, you will find most of our rules to be familiar. Each Game and Heat Station will have rules and objectives clearly marked to remind you. We ask you respect the rules here at all times and encourage each of you to be ambassadors of your sport.

We operate a “STOP & CHECK” policy with regards FPS Checks of “hot” RiFs, and to check bb’s. Please comply with our staff and help us make this a fair and safe event for everyone. All accusations of cheating will be handled by a dedicated investigation team who will review any cctv and camera footage, witness testimony and defence. We support the decisions made by this team and their say is final.

ALL REPORTS OF CHEATING SHOULD BE MADE AS SOON POSSIBLE AFTER THE EVENT AND ANY “EVIDENCE” PRESENTED TO THE INVESTIGATIONS TEAM.

all players must attend the safety briefing held in the mess deck daily and transmitted on the video screens around the event village

Copies of the safety brief and these rules will be included in your player packs

TOURNAMENT RULES

THESE RULES APPLY TO THE TOURNAMENT ONLY

Each team must complete each of the 10 HEATS STAGES. The first five challenges will be available from 09:00 on the Friday and focus upon weapon handling and skill. The second five stations on the Saturday look at problem solving, team building and tactical response.

A maximum of TEN points are available at each HEAT. The 4 highest scoring teams on Saturday evening will go through to the finals while teams in 5th -15th place will form a strike force and can be paid to play. Teams who did not achieve a position above 15 will ALL be invited to take part in the final enemy assault on Sundays last game (Chapter 4).

The finals are made up of four chapters in a story mode. With 4 teams starting here, we will say goodbye to one team at each stage. The last team standing will face one final endurance battle. If successful in their mission, this team will walk away with £100,000.

Should the opposing force be successful and defeat Team Scorpio, then this team will share the prize money and the opposing team will leave with nothing.

Event game rules apply during these stages each team will be covertly marshalled. It is important to note the DANGER AREAS and keep out of them. Any combatant found in one of these areas will be removed and their team disqualified.

All objectives must be met at each stage. The teams with most players alive will go through to the next stage based on their time. The fastest team first. The team in last place will leave the tournament at this stage but may take part in the final assault should they choose.

Magazine Capacity

The capacity of magazines that are to be used during the Tournament Heats and Finals will be released soon.

What are the medic/dead rules?

Each participant has three lives issued to them, represented by a bandage with instant respawn. If you are “hit” then you must declare so with a raised arm and shouting “hit”. (Please do not shout for  medic unless you actually need medical assistance so as to avoid confusion and unnecessary responses). Any team mate can then apply one of your (or their own if you have none left) bandage markers to your left arm and you may re enter the game. If after 5 minutes you have not been revived then you are considered to have  bled out & died and you must leave that game. If your team go through you will rejoin them at the next stage. Any hits you are carrying will reset after the chapter ends.

During the Final (Chapter 4) on Sunday you will carry your kills. Meaning that they do not reset at each stage.

During the tournament teammates can choose to use their own bandages to revive each other should they have enough and wish to do so. If a player runs out of space on their left arm, bandages should be applied to any other available limb. The visual is designed to handicap this player.
